CHA

Students at CHA are allowed to have cell phones, but we do not want them to be a distraction or disruption to others. We ask that they respect the following guidelines:

 

1. Students may not use their phones during instructional time, only during breaks, study halls, and lunch, unless otherwise allowed by your teacher. Students should be mindful of those around them when making phone calls, keeping their volume to a minimum.

2. During class-time, cell phones should be silenced and placed in a purse or backpack unless otherwise allowed by your teacher.

3. Cell phones are for personal use only; they are not to be shared with other students.

4. If using a cell phone for something that requires sound, the student must use headphones.

 

If a student misuses a cell phone, a teacher has the right to take away the phone for the remainder of that class period.
