PHYSICAL SCIENCE Teacher: Mrs. Amber Murray
Physical Science is the study of non-living systems; in this class we'll take a flying visit into geology, astronomy, physics (yep, don't be scared), earth science and chemistry. We'll study the incredible world God has given us, and lay the foundation for more in-depth study later in high school.

CHEMISTRY Teacher: Mrs. Laurie Beth Dozier
Prerequisite: Algebra 1
This is a lab science course that covers the fundamental aspects of chemistry including: classifications of matter, atomic structure, spectroscopy, chemical bonding, molecular geometry, physical and chemical change, stoichiometry, solutions, ideal gases, acid/base chemistry, and chemical equilibrium. Students will learn proper lab safety and experimental techniques. They will also perform qualitative and quantitative experiments.
